Summary: In this work, computer simulations of binary alloys of nickel with gold and silver were performed using the Sutton-Chen mathematical model. The simulation was conducted using the general lattice program (GULP) software package . For the alloys, a simulation of ordered and chemically disordered structures were carried out. Elastic moduli, Poisson's ratio, intrinsic hardness and ductility coefficient were estimated for both ordered and disordered structures. The influence of chemical disorder on the mechanical properties of the alloys was estimated. An attempt was made to assess the significance of the ratio of nickel in the alloys to their mechanical properties. The study found that the influence of chemical disorder on all studied mechanical properties of the metals is significant. In particular, the influence is much higher in shear modulus, on the elastic constant C44 , intrinsic hardness and coefficient of ductility.

Abstract: An integro-differential equation that degenerates at zero is considered in a normed Banach space. For it, a set of solutions is constructed with values in some specially introduced space of functions equal to zero at zero.

Annotation: In the work, on the example of a laboratory workshop on fluid and gas mechanics, the possibilities of this type of training in the field of organizing research activities of students are demonstrated. In addition, the result obtained by the students during routine laboratory work expands the general understanding of modeling the processes of thermal expansion of incompressible media.

Abstract: The article analyzes in detail the meteorological data on the maximum daily temperature of the day (noon) and evening (at sunset). Based on the analysis, a verbal model of the influence of the planetary motion of the Earth and the water cycle in nature on temperature fluctuations and, consequently, on the state of forests is formed. Then a formal model of these influences is presented, which, under certain computer simulations, is in good agreement with experiment.

Abstract: When studying the regularities of the process of scattering of radio waves, verifying the scattering characteristics of the detected object, diagnosing the object of study by the nature of the radiation scattered by it, developing appropriate databases of various objects of study, the problem of measuring the characteristics of the scattered radiation is solved. This article provides a rationale for a physically transparent conceptual approach to modeling scattered radiation from an object under study. As a result of the simulation, the scattering area is estimated from Maxwell's equations.

Annotation: The article analyzes the known technologies for harvesting timber in the current conditions of Russia's development, reveals their main advantages and disadvantages. Possible technological schemes of wood harvesting using the above technologies are presented. Possible ways of hauling timber by logging trucks, as well as the used schemes of technological sequences for moving wood from forest areas to the consumer, are considered.

Annotation: The article discusses in detail the reasons for the insufficient efficiency of the use of domestic logging road transport when hauling timber along logging roads. The main technological processes and operations, properties and factors are singled out, in which the insufficient efficiency of the functioning of logging road transport is manifested in modern conditions of logging production. Prospective ways to increase the efficiency of the functioning of timber road transport are proposed.

Abstract: The actual scientific and technical problem of polar-symmetric deformation of an elastic cylinder under conditions of temperature and humidity influences is considered. An exact analytical solution of this problem is obtained with the definition of single-valued expressions for stresses, strains, and radial displacement. The obtained solution allows us to solve this problem for an incompressible material at as a special case.

Abstract: The actual scientific and practical problem of plane deformation of an elastic cylinder under conditions of temperature and humidity exposure is considered. Various pipes, shafts, plain bearings, bushings made of natural and modified wood, etc. have a cylindrical shape. An exact analytical solution of this problem is given for an isotropic cylinder in the case of a stationary temperature-humidity effect. All formulas for stresses and strains contain mechanical and thermophysical constants, which corresponds to the physical meaning. It is proved that the use of classical methods for solving this problem through the potentials of stresses and displacements leads to an undesirable result, in which stresses or strains do not depend on the thermophysical constant, which contradicts the physical meaning.

Annotation: An analysis of the types of working bodies used in serially produced equipment for digging up large-sized planting material with a clod of soil has been carried out. The advantages and disadvantages of arcuate and segmental knives of digging machines are assessed in terms of working conditions, energy intensity of the working process and the shape of the soil clod being dug.

Abstract: Conducting theoretical studies of the working processes of various machines and units today has ample opportunities when using modern computer technologies. The use of programs significantly speeds up the study of complex systems under study. The use of simulation modeling methods is advisable at a high cost of conducting real experimental studies or, due to certain circumstances, making research on a real system impossible, and the calculation of an analytical model will allow many assumptions and approximations that will affect the entire system and change it. In the article, special attention is paid to the selection of the most appropriate modeling method for the study of the process, the elimination of a forest fire by the flow of soil, using serial software products. The analysis of the existing numerical methods for modeling the interaction of the working bodies of earth-moving and tillage machines with soil media has been carried out. The studies performed by the discrete element method (DEM), finite element method (FEM), computational fluid dynamics (CFD), smoothed particle hydrodynamics (SPH) are analyzed. Conclusions are drawn on the prospects for the applicability of each of the methods for modeling the system of processes for processing and throwing soil.

Annotation: The article discusses the features of timber transportation by various modes of transport currently used in the Russian Federation. The conditions for their application are given, taking into account the availability of the transport routes used, as well as the capabilities of the region. The main design features of these modes of transport are described. The most important advantages of using road transport for the removal of timber in comparison with land, water, pipeline and air transport are presented.
