Annotation. For the purpose of technological application in the processes of preparation and deposition of plasma coatings, studies of the mutual influence of acoustic action on low-temperature plasma were carried out, the experimental procedure and the results of the study in a tube at a resonant excitation frequency were presented. The nonlinearity of sound vibrations and their amplification with increasing pressure are found, which can be used to intensify the processes of applying plasma coatings.

Annotation. The process of electrogalvanic production of coatings of increased thickness with layer-by-layer mechanical hardening is considered. The mode of deposition and the scheme of coating deposition, the research technique and the results of X-ray analysis of internal stresses are given.

Annotation. Comparative microstructural studies and mechanical tests of an experimental austenine manganese alloy and standard structural materials have been carried out. As a result of the research, relative data were revealed, indicating the high mechanical properties of the experimental alloy, allowing it to be recommended for machine parts operating under high load-speed operating conditions and temperature exposure up to 700 0C.

Annotation. Increasing drilling efficiency is an important task in mechanical engineering. An improved method is proposed for drilling a part in metal, which is elastically deformed in the area below the proportionality limit before drilling, which ensures that other dimensions remain unchanged. Empirically, the dependences of the axial force were obtained when drilling blanks from duralumin D16 in an elastically stressed state. These dependencies allow you to select the correct cutting conditions when drilling parts from D16 duralumin.

Annotation. The analysis of changes in the dynamic characteristics of the transport operation of the main road train in road conditions with overcoming areas of difficult traffic, characterized by the presence of steep ascents, is considered. Annotation. The article presents a mathematical model of the destructive effect of a wide-profile tire on the roadway. The mathematical model makes it possible to fairly adequately reproduce the impact of a wide-profile tire on the road surface, taking into account the load and parameters of the tire, as well as the structure of the road surface and the temperature state.

Annotation. Modern methods of restoring car body parts include many interrelated operations performed in accordance with certain requirements. The repair, as a rule, is controlled by both the organization that carried out the repair and the owner of the car. Often after the repair, there are disagreements in assessing the quality. The article describes a technique for determining the places of damage hidden from observation without using a destructive method. Based on the application of non-destructive testing methods and analysis of the chronology of events, conclusions were drawn about the cause of the formation of convex deformations of the hood. The article may be useful to specialists working in the field of body repair, as well as experts assessing the quality of body repair.
