Annotation. For the purpose of technological application in the processes of preparation and deposition of plasma coatings, studies of the mutual influence of acoustic action on low-temperature plasma were carried out, the experimental procedure and the results of the study in a tube at a resonant excitation frequency were presented. The nonlinearity of sound vibrations and their amplification with increasing pressure are found, which can be used to intensify the processes of applying plasma coatings.

Annotation. Comparative microstructural studies and mechanical tests of an experimental austenine manganese alloy and standard structural materials have been carried out. As a result of the research, relative data were revealed, indicating the high mechanical properties of the experimental alloy, allowing it to be recommended for machine parts operating under high load-speed operating conditions and temperature exposure up to 700 0C.

Annotation. Increasing drilling efficiency is an important task in mechanical engineering. An improved method is proposed for drilling a part in metal, which is elastically deformed in the area below the proportionality limit before drilling, which ensures that other dimensions remain unchanged. Empirically, the dependences of the axial force were obtained when drilling blanks from duralumin D16 in an elastically stressed state. These dependencies allow you to select the correct cutting conditions when drilling parts from D16 duralumin.

Annotation. Modern methods of restoring car body parts include many interrelated operations performed in accordance with certain requirements. The repair, as a rule, is controlled by both the organization that carried out the repair and the owner of the car. Often after the repair, there are disagreements in assessing the quality. The article describes a technique for determining the places of damage hidden from observation without using a destructive method. Based on the application of non-destructive testing methods and analysis of the chronology of events, conclusions were drawn about the cause of the formation of convex deformations of the hood. The article may be useful to specialists working in the field of body repair, as well as experts assessing the quality of body repair.

Annotation. In a three-component medium, when it is deformed, elastic waves propagate in the longitudinal direction on the wave surface. In this work, we studied the behavior of elastic waves, their influence on the quality of the propagation medium during the formation of composite coatings during plasma spraying. A block diagram has been compiled for creating a software product that facilitates theoretical studies of wave processes in a three-component medium.

Annotation. The paper shows that by means of plasma arc modulation, as well as the use of an air-gas mixture (air with propane butane), it is possible to significantly increase the bond strength of the coating with the substrate, the powder utilization ratio, reduce gas permeability and increase the wear resistance of plasma powder coatings.

Annotation. The article presents the results of studies of the effect of multiple plasma jet reflow of a multicomponent FeCoCrAlTiCuNiMo coating obtained by plasma metallization in an open atmosphere on its wear resistance in dry sliding friction. The research results indirectly confirm the influence of the entropy of the coating on the increase in its wear resistance with an increase in the number of reflows.

Annotation. Existing methods for improving the strength characteristics of parts do not always provide the necessary characteristics of working surfaces. Annotation. The extraction of timber in the territory of the Russian Federation is carried out mainly by logging technical complexes, made on the basis of machines with a hydraulic drive. In turn, of the currently known types of hydrodynamic transmission, the most advanced is the hydrostatic transmission. Despite the exceptional reliability of such equipment, hydrodynamic transmission, including hydrostatic transmission, has a large number of failures. The main hydrostatic transmission failures include malfunctions of the wheel drive hydraulic motor. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to use the method of thermal diagnostics to reduce the number of failures in hydrodynamic transmission, including hydrostatic transmission.

Annotation. The article considers materials on the optimization of the temperature regime of transmission units of wheeled vehicles during operation at low temperatures. In preparing this review, publications in Russian published between 2000 and 2021 were used. The analysis of materials concerning the determination of the optimal temperature regime of the transmission units of machines has been carried out, integrated heat supply systems have been considered. Directions for further development of the issue of determining and ensuring the optimal thermal profile of transmission units and assemblies of wheeled vehicles are proposed.

Annotation. The paper presents the results of a study of the influence of the schemes for the supply and removal of the electrolyte flow and its parameters (electrolyte pressure at the inlet РВХ and pressure drop Δр) on the quality of electrochemical shaping of holes in samples of stainless and titanium alloys used in the manufacture of parts of rocket and space technology. It is shown that the change in РВХ and Δр has a significant effect on the quality of hole formation. It has been experimentally established that the lateral electrolyte supply scheme is preferable.

Annotation. The methodology for determining the adhesive characteristics of thin-film coatings applied from the vapor phase and used to protect parts from wear and corrosion is considered. The study of adhesive properties, along with the determination of thickness, elemental composition, structure, physico-mechanical, tribological characteristics, and wear coefficient, makes it possible to evaluate and select the optimal coating and its application technology for a specific industrial application. Using the a-C:H/a-SiOCN system diamond-like coating DLCPateks, deposited during finishing plasma hardening, as an example, the adhesion characteristics were evaluated according to ISO 20502:2005 by scratch testing and according to ISO 26443:2008 by indentation of a Rockwell diamond indenter. The first tests are related to determining the load at which the depth of indenter entry into the coating-substrate composition ceases to grow smoothly, which characterizes the moment of coating failure. The ratio of the load on the indenter, determined at the end of the passage of the coating thickness, to the load of the appearance of the first cracks or delaminations in these tests is conventionally called the adhesion coefficient. The influence of the coating thickness on the adhesion coefficient has been studied. Tests involving the use of a Rockwell diamond indenter qualitatively evaluate the adhesion properties of a coating by comparing the obtained and normalized prints. The results of the research have proven the increased adhesion characteristics of the DLCPateks coating.

Annotation. A technology is proposed for creating heat-shielding wear-resistant coatings on the surface of parts of a cylinder-piston group (CPG) made of AK12MMgN alloy using a galvanoplasmic modification of microarc oxidation. For this purpose, a complete three-factor experiment of type 23 was carried out in the form of half-replicas of coating deposition. The dependences of the thickness, microhardness, wear resistance and porosity of the galvanic plasma coating on the technological parameters of the process are established. This technology seems to be effective, since it reduces fuel consumption by 5-7% and increases engine power by 8% while ensuring optimal properties of the heat-shielding layer.

Annotation. A technique for studying the productivity and reliability of technological processes of mechanical assembly production at the stages of the life cycle of mechanical engineering products is proposed. A semi-Markovian mathematical model is proposed, which makes it possible to analyze, for example, technological processes for the manufacture of threaded connections. In the proposed model, the distribution functions (DF) of the service time of a unit of production are determined, taking into account failures. FDs make it possible to ensure the information consistency of models of various hierarchical levels and to explore the relationship between the stages of the life cycle of engineering products.

Annotation. The main advantages of using timber tractors with semi-trailers in comparison with single timber trucks and timber trucks with trailers are listed. The analysis of the results of scientific works of foreign authors involved in improving the efficiency of timber tractors with semi-trailers in the process of hauling timber has been carried out. The existing conditions for the removal of timber in the Russian Federation by timber tractors with semi-trailers are considered. The negative consequences that manifest themselves in the process of moving along logging roads, limiting the efficiency of using logging tractors with semi-trailers, are described. Among them, the most significant one was singled out, which consists in the occurrence of significant efforts during braking of a timber tractor with a semi-trailer in a fifth wheel coupling, accompanied by the appearance of cracks in the elements of the carrier system, breakdowns in the coupling device, as well as the folding of a timber road train. The schemes of forces acting on a timber tractor with a semi-trailer in the process of braking are presented. The dependences of the change in the braking forces of the axles of a timber tractor with a semi-trailer are given, taking into account the non-simultaneous operation of their brake mechanisms, as well as the change in force in the fifth wheel of a timber tractor with a semi-trailer during braking. In order to increase

efficiency of a timber tractor with a semi-trailer, a promising design of a recuperative fifth wheel coupling is proposed.

Annotation. The results of a study of the dependence of the temperature of the friction zone of two bodies (shaft and inner sleeve) on the operating parameters of a plain bearing, such as pressure, sliding speed and radial load in terms of the resource of a friction pair, are presented. On the basis of a multifactorial experiment, a regression equation for the friction process is obtained, taking into account the influence of these parameters on the temperature in the contact zone, which makes it possible to determine the boundaries of the trouble-free operation of friction pairs of motor vehicles. Technological ways of solving the provision of the specified performance of a friction pair according to the temperature criterion without scuffing are proposed.

Annotation. The advantages are described, as well as the possibilities inherent in timber tractors with trailers to achieve high technical and economic indicators, significantly exceeding those of single timber vehicles, as well as other comparable layouts of timber haulers. The analysis of the scientific works of foreign authors was carried out, which made it possible to identify the most significant factors on which the efficiency of the process of hauling long-length timber by timber tractors with trailers depends. The existing conditions for the hauling of long-length timber in the Russian Federation by timber tractors with trailers, as well as the negative consequences of their operation in difficult road and climatic conditions, are considered. It has been established that the insufficient equipping of logging roads is accompanied for logging road trains by a forced unsteady mode of movement, which leads to failure due to the impact of alternating loads from the side of the trailer-dissolution with timber of the pivot assembly of the rotary conic device of the logging tractor. In order to increase the efficiency of timber tractors with release trailers, as well as to minimize the negative impact on the pivot assembly of alternating loads from the forces of inertia of the release trailer with timber, a promising scheme of a recuperative spring-hydraulic rotary conical device is proposed. The necessary and sufficient tasks for the creation and practical use of the proposed device are formulated.

Annotation. The influence of the pressure of sandblasting and the volume of alumina on the roughness of the substrate made of the AK12MMgN alloy, as well as on the roughness of the coatings deposited after blast cleaning, obtained by the galvanic-plasma modification of the GPM, and on the adhesive strength of these coatings is studied. It has been established that the proposed technology for surface treatment of parts of the cylinder-piston group of diesel engines (CPG) of internal combustion from the AK12MMgN alloy, both before applying GPM coatings and after applying them to the above alloy, makes it possible to obtain a heat-shielding layer leading to significant fuel savings in diesel internal combustion engines. This technique seems to be effective for treating the surfaces of diesel engine CPG parts before and after applying heat-protective and wear-resistant coatings, confirmed by full-scale and bench tests.

Annotation. The use of a metal-powder composition of steel with additions of chromium and nickel 12Kh18N10T for use in additive 3D printing technologies by selective laser melting (SLM) is considered. The influence of the laser radiation power and the scanning speed of the laser beam on the continuity of the resulting steel in the samples has been studied. features of material formation in the process of selective laser metal fusion, technological features of the equipment are determined. The results on the physical and mechanical properties of the alloy obtained by SLM were obtained: the ultimate strength of the samples after hardening at a temperature of 105010 0С - 660 MPa; yield strength - 356 MPa, relative elongation - 40%.

Annotation. The article describes the principles of creating a hybrid model for predicting and complex diagnostics of malfunctions of CNC machine tools. It is proposed to improve the configuration of the diagnostic system and include a neuro-fuzzy network with a dynamic Bayesian network algorithm and a particle filter in it to ensure earlier and more accurate prediction of faults. This will allow some failures to be predicted in the early stages of CNC machine operation, when cost-effective measures can be taken to avoid serious failures or damage.

Annotation. The article discusses the features of the granulometric characteristics of processing media from natural materials and their influence on the quality of finishing processing of parts of radio-electronic equipment under vibration processing conditions. It is shown that the presence of wedge-shaped vertices different in size and angular arrangement relative to each other makes it possible to consider the granule as a tool that performs cutting and has access to various surfaces of the workpiece. Recommendations on the choice of granulometric characteristics of processing media are proposed.

Annotation. The necessity of using logging vehicles with trailers in order to increase the productivity of timber hauling is substantiated. The advantages of using logging vehicles with trailers over single logging vehicles are described. The analysis of scientific works of foreign authors in the field of increasing the efficiency of timber trucks with trailers is carried out. An assessment was made of the operation of timber trucks with trailers in the existing conditions for the removal of timber in the Russian Federation. Identified negative factors limiting the effectiveness of timber road trains. The most significant factor is singled out, which can lead to dangerous consequences, which consists in the occurrence of critically large forces in the coupling device of a logging road train during sudden braking. The change in the braking forces of the bridges of a timber vehicle with a trailer during sharp braking, as well as three possible cases of interaction during braking of a timber vehicle with a trailer, is considered. A promising design of a recuperative pneumohydraulic coupling device for a logging vehicle with a trailer is proposed.

Annotation. The negative consequences of the operation of timber road trains in difficult road and climatic conditions are considered. It has been established that the largest share of failures during the operation of a timber road train fit on his engine. Possible defects of the crankshaft, which contribute to the failure of the engine of a logging road train, are described. The expediency of the process of restoration of crankshafts of engines is substantiated. The analysis of the results of research by foreign authors in the field of development and improvement of various methods for the restoration of the main and connecting rod journals of the crankshafts of engines is carried out. Among them, the most progressive method of restoration was revealed, which consists in the plasma deposition of coatings of specified properties on the main and connecting rod journals of the crankshafts. In order to increase the efficiency of the resulting coatings by plasma spraying, a combined method for the simultaneous deposition and hardening of the coating is proposed. A preliminary assessment was made on the basis of mathematical modeling of the main physical and mechanical properties of coatings obtained using this technology. The wear resistance of coatings obtained on the developed laboratory installation using compared technologies has been studied.

Annotation. Based on the analysis of scientific works of foreign authors, the main factors influencing the efficiency of the operation of timber tractors with semi-trailers have been identified. A promising design of a fifth wheel coupling with a spring shock absorber for timber tractors with semi-trailers that haul timber in difficult road conditions is proposed. A mathematical model of the movement along a logging road of a logging tractor with a semi-trailer equipped with a fifth wheel coupling with a spring shock absorber has been developed. Based on the developed computer program, a preliminary assessment of the performance indicators of the proposed design of the coupling device was carried out. It has been established that the spring shock absorber of the fifth wheel coupling provides, during braking and acceleration, a decrease in the amplitude of acceleration oscillations between a timber tractor and a semi-trailer with timber in the range from 0.95 to 0.6 m/s2. It was found that in order to reduce unfavorable vibrations of a semi-trailer with timber relative to a timber tractor, it is advisable to use dry friction in a spring shock absorber.
