Abstract: A mathematical model is proposed that describes, using ordinary differential equations, the balance between disappearing and reappearing local fires in the process of eliminating fugitive crown fires in forests. A characteristic feature of the proposed model is that, in this case, the unknown function (the number of fire places) is characterized only by the time of evolution of fires with coefficients depending on natural factors and the quality of fire extinguishing technologies. The calculation is based on a nonlinear (quadratic) dependence of the rate of change in the number of ignition sources on their number. The analysis of the obtained results shows that, despite the simplification, the proposed model in some cases is true and can be useful in planning fire prevention measures.

Abstract: The state of natural global complexes is assessed in modern technologies by changing the main environmental factors (temperature, humidity, atmospheric pressure). It is known that environmental temperature monitoring has been carried out for more than three centuries. However, according to the results of long-term observations, fundamental models of the processes of daily temperature change during the year have not yet been formed. The paper proposes an analysis of the dependence of daily temperature fluctuations on solar activity in the framework of a stochastic model. Based on a simple concept, the parameters of the probability distribution of the magnitude of daily temperature fluctuations in different months of the year were estimated.

Abstract: The purpose and types of fifth wheel couplings used in timber tractors with semi-trailers are considered. The consequences of the use of fifth wheel couplings in case of violation of the operating requirements are described. Comparison of manual and automatic methods of lubrication of friction pairs of the fifth wheel is made. The most common automatic lubrication systems used on the foreign market, used for fifth wheel couplings of timber tractors with semi-trailers, are given. The analysis of known lubrication systems for fifth wheel couplings based on patent search materials was carried out. The main difficult-to-solve issues that arise during the operation of fifth wheel lubrication systems are identified. The proposed solutions are considered, which make it possible to constructively eliminate difficult-to-solve issues. The positive effects obtained by using the proposed solutions are analyzed.

Annotation: The main Russian and foreign companies, and the logging sites manufactured by them, installed on logging tractors for transportation in a coupling with a trailer-dissolution of long timber, are considered. The analysis of the known structures of logging sites and the rotary horses installed on them is carried out based on the materials of the patent search. The main reasons for the insufficient efficiency of transporting long timber by a timber tractor with a trailer are identified. Possible ways of improving the structures of logging sites installed on logging tractors are proposed.

Annotation: The article is devoted to modeling the vibrations of machine and tractor units. The mechanical models presented in the article make it possible to describe the vibrations of the MTA in the longitudinal-vertical and horizontal planes. Mechanical models of mounted implements are also given, describing their vibrations in the longitudinal-vertical and horizontal planes. In the future, the presented mechanical models can be used in compiling differential equations of vibrations in the framework of the development of the theory of stability of the MTA motion.

Abstract: The paper shows an example of using the hierarchy analysis method to compare the efficiency of different modifications of stumps according to several criteria. Adaptation to the territory of operation, fuel economy and the time of an elementary operation were chosen as criteria. As a result, the choice of the optimal device was substantiated. The use of the hierarchy analysis method for solving multicriteria problems is convenient due to the possibility of using software tools.

Abstract: Modern technologies use several criteria for the efficiency of the work processes of hydraulic manipulators. One of the criteria for technical efficiency is energy consumption and a decrease in the dynamic load of work processes. The cost of scientific research is significantly reduced by conducting model tests, which are based on well-known physical and mathematical equations. To formulate the basic axioms of the formal model, the paper uses the equations of motion of the boom, taking into account the impact of inertia forces and compliance of the hydraulic drive. Within the framework of this approach, it is possible to simulate, for example, the time dependence of high-frequency pressure fluctuations when using a damper in the piston and rod cavities or to calculate the peak pressure value depending on the diameter of the throttling channels.

Next, we study a special case of an operator coefficient that has eigenvalues ​​of unit algebraic multiplicity. Then the Cauchy problem with an arbitrary bounded operator coefficient is considered. In all cases, an analytical solution formula is obtained.

Abstract: The article deals with the problem of the influence of fluctuations of the transported liquid in the tank of a mobile vehicle on the smoothness of the ride. To solve this problem, a program has been developed to simulate the movement of a mobile vehicle carrying liquid in a tank. The program simulates the movement of a mobile vehicle on a random uneven surface, and also simulates the movement of liquid in the tank of the mobile vehicle, taking into account the mutual influence of the mechanical subsystem and the liquid. The developed model has a high level of versatility, therefore, it automatically reproduces various options for the state of the liquid in the tank, depending on the conditions of the movement of the mobile vehicle.

Abstract: A method is proposed for directional change in the properties of joints on adhesives by jointly exposing the adhesive or adhesive layer of a heterogeneous nature to a constant magnetic field and ultrasound. It has been established that due to the compaction of the adhesive structure by the action of a combined physical field, the strength of the adhesive joint based on this adhesive increases. When this field is treated with a melt of glue with a dispersed metal filler, heat-conducting bridges are formed in the adhesive layer, consisting of a finely dispersed filler. Such bridges of filler particles significantly increase the thermal conductivity of the adhesive layer.

Abstract: The process of heat transfer from a heterogeneous material to a homogeneous one is studied using the example of heat transfer between brake linings and discs. It has been established that the structure of the contact surfaces plays a significant role in this process. An effective method seems to be to increase the thermal conductivity in the interface zone by applying a magnetic field to the adhesive layer.

Abstract: To carry out non-destructive quality control of joints on adhesives, a thermal method is proposed, which is based on the effect of the relationship of thermophysical properties (thermal conductivity coefficient) with internal stresses arising in adhesive joints during the polymerization of the adhesive. The method allows, by determining the thermal diffusivity of the adhesive layer, to predict the formation of internal stresses, which are the main suppliers of macrodefects in adhesive joints. The use of the proposed method makes it possible to obtain kinetic data on the development of internal stresses.

Annotation: The article deals with the issue of increasing the efficiency of the process of transportation of ATP. To increase the profit of the enterprise, it is necessary to constantly optimize the transportation process. The initial stage of optimization is the process of processing requests. At this stage, the required rolling stock is selected and the optimal route is created. The logistics of transportation depends on how this process goes. An analysis of the annual time fund of the rolling stock was also carried out, from which it can be seen that in order to optimize the transportation process, it is necessary to increase the time of using the rolling stock. To do this, it is necessary to reduce the downtime and the time the vehicle is in service or repair, constantly monitor such indicators as the coefficient of technical readiness and the utilization rate of the rolling stock.

Summary: In this work, computer simulations of binary alloys of nickel with gold and silver were performed using the Sutton-Chen mathematical model. The simulation was conducted using the general lattice program (GULP) software package [9]. For the alloys, a simulation of ordered and chemically disordered structures were carried out. Elastic moduli, Poisson's ratio, intrinsic hardness and ductility coefficient were estimated for both ordered and disordered structures. The influence of chemical disorder on the mechanical properties of the alloys was estimated. An attempt was made to assess the significance of the ratio of nickel in the alloys to their mechanical properties. The study found that the influence of chemical disorder on all studied mechanical properties of the metals is significant. In particular, the influence is much higher in shear modulus, on the elastic constant C44 , intrinsic hardness and coefficient of ductility.

Based on the analysis, a verbal model of the influence of the planetary motion of the Earth and the water cycle in nature on temperature fluctuations and, consequently, on the state of forests is formed. Then a formal model of these influences is presented, which, under certain computer simulations, is in good agreement with experiment.

This article provides a rationale for a physically transparent conceptual approach to modeling scattered radiation from an object under study. As a result of the simulation, the scattering area is estimated from Maxwell's equations.

Abstract: The actual scientific and practical problem of plane deformation of an elastic cylinder under conditions of temperature and humidity exposure is considered. Various pipes, shafts, plain bearings, bushings made of natural and modified wood, etc. have a cylindrical shape. An exact analytical solution of this problem is given for an isotropic cylinder in the case of a stationary temperature-humidity effect. All formulas for stresses and strains contain mechanical and thermophysical constants, which corresponds to the physical meaning. It is proved that the use of classical methods for solving this problem through the potentials of stresses and displacements leads to an undesirable result, in which stresses or strains do not depend on the thermophysical constant, which contradicts the physical meaning.

Abstract: Conducting theoretical studies of the working processes of various machines and units today has ample opportunities when using modern computer technologies. The use of programs significantly speeds up the study of complex systems under study. The use of simulation modeling methods is advisable at a high cost of conducting real experimental studies or, due to certain circumstances, making research on a real system impossible, and the calculation of an analytical model will allow many assumptions and approximations that will affect the entire system and change it. In the article, special attention is paid to the selection of the most appropriate modeling method for the study of the process, the elimination of a forest fire by the flow of soil, using serial software products. The analysis of the existing numerical methods for modeling the interaction of the working bodies of earth-moving and tillage machines with soil media has been carried out. The studies performed by the discrete element method (DEM), finite element method (FEM), computational fluid dynamics (CFD), smoothed particle hydrodynamics (SPH) are analyzed. Conclusions are drawn on the prospects for the applicability of each of the methods for modeling the system of processes for processing and throwing soil.

Abstract: Using the methods of system analysis, a comparison of several alternatives to existing plows is carried out in order to justify the optimal choice of the method for their modification. The analysis takes into account the fact, discovered during soil cultivation in clearings, that share plows cultivate the soil well, but are not able to work in forest soils saturated with roots, or they require significant traction power, which is not always advisable. Therefore, disc plows are more often used in clearings, which have good cross-country ability and maneuverability, however, the quality of surface treatment is not ideal. In the design of existing tools, changes are needed. The system approach makes it possible to justify the feasibility of implementing a new design solution to take into account several factors: the expansion of design solutions, the reduction of time for a working operation, and the specifics of use in the conditions of the Russian Federation. Studies have shown that a plow with forced working bodies has optimal characteristics, which, when cultivating soil in clearings, additionally produces loosening.

Abstract: The problem of pure bending of an elastic curved beam with a given moment M is considered. It is proved that the values ​​of stresses and strains found in this work depend on the value of Poisson's ratio. An exact analytical solution of this problem is obtained with the definition of unambiguous expressions for stresses and strains.

Abstract: Mulchers are very useful in creating and caring for the forest. The wide range of different types of mulchers can be confusing for potential buyers. This article was aimed at creating a classification of mulchers based on an assessment of the most important parameters: weight, required engine power and the diameter of the cut wood. Six classes of machines were created, their boundaries were defined and mulchers were assigned to these classes. Class K1 (weight up to 1300 kg; productivity up to 75 kilowatts; diameter of the working body up to 22 centimeters) is the most common - 88 units of mulchers. It is followed by class K2 (1800 kilograms; 100 kilowatts; 27 centimeters) - 61 pieces, class K4 (3200 kg; 175 kW; 41 centimeters) - 44 pieces, class K3 (2300 kg; 125 kilowatts; 31 centimeters) - 34 pieces, class K5 (4100 kg; 225 kW; 51 centimeters) - 18 pieces. and class K6 (no upper limit) - 9 pcs.

Abstract: The paper analyzes the foreign and Russian approaches to the calculation of controlled intersections, defines the basic principles and approaches used in the construction of phase-by-phase siding schemes. The classification of the approaches used is carried out taking into account foreign and domestic experience. In the course of the analysis of regulatory sources, it was found that there are many approaches to choosing the organization of a traffic scheme on regulated sections. Particular attention in this matter is occupied by the introduction of a specialized phase for performing a left turn, mainly this choice is made by a design engineer, based mainly on the demand for a left turn, without analyzing the main characteristics of the traffic flow, namely the queue length, speed and delays of transport funds. The main design parameters used in determining the need to introduce a specialized left-turn phase when using traffic light control are determined.

Abstract: The article considers a thermal model of the heat transfer process in a composite system with contacting metal surfaces with macro-deviations of the shape in the form of bulges. It is shown that the previously developed methods for calculating contact thermal resistances are suitable only for contact pairs with flat rough surfaces. For the contact pairs under consideration, when deriving analytical dependences, it is necessary to take into account the effect of equivalent nonflatness, the presence of which greatly increases the contact thermal resistance, which requires taking into account the influence of deviations in the shape of contact surfaces in the process of designing heat-stressed systems.

Abstract: In the past few decades, gluing technologies have been widely used in woodworking, which can significantly expand the range of new products. The connection of products on adhesives is used in the production of furniture, parquet, load-bearing and enclosing structures, door and window blocks, prefabricated residential buildings and many other products. The main criteria for the quality of glued wood joints is the cohesive and adhesive strength of the adhesive joint. To date, a number of technologies have been developed to increase the strength of wood adhesive joints. In order to increase the strength of the adhesive joint of wood, technologists propose methods for varying such factors as temperature, pressure during curing of the adhesive joint, the cleanliness of the surface treatment of substrates, and the thickness of the adhesive layer. A large amount of work and substantial financial costs go to create adhesives of new brands. However, the requirements for glued wood products cannot be solved by the proposed gluing technologies and new brands of adhesives. This primarily concerns the widely used glued wooden structures (KDK), which, as a rule, are operated in difficult conditions with high mechanical loads. To solve the problem of increasing the reliability of structures made of glued wood, imported, but more expensive glues are often used instead of domestic ones. To a certain extent, the creation of more high-strength adhesive joints has recently been also solved by using methods for modifying domestic adhesives irradiated with magnetic and electric fields, as well as with ultrasound.

Abstract: The article provides an analysis of the operation of various friction devices, in order to select the most appropriate design for use on forest winches of a road train when performing loading and unloading operations. International experience in the operation of forest winches has shown that winches of disk, cone, shoe-pneumatic chamber friction clutches and external belt types are most often used. By increasing the value of the transmitted torque and the reliability of the couplings, it is possible to significantly increase the traction forces of the winches without significant changes in the designs of other units.

Abstract: The article provides an analysis and comparison of friction elements consisting of Ferodo and Retinax with asbestos rubber friction material 143-63 and 8-45-62 in the nodes and brakes of forging and pressing machines operated at forestry and woodworking industries. In Russia, the friction materials Ferodo and Retinax, widely used in clutches and brakes of operated machines, no longer satisfy consumers in many cases due to their low strength and wear resistance, which began to limit the performance of friction units. The analysis showed that the use of friction asbestos-rubber materials grades 143-63 and 8-45-62 in the units and brakes of forging and pressing machines operated at forestry and woodworking industries will dramatically increase both the productivity of the machines and their performance, and also gives the ability to significantly reduce the cost of maintenance and repair of forging and pressing equipment.

Abstract: The article analyzes elastic elements with a nonlinear characteristic. To improve the smoothness of the truck, a combined elastic element is proposed, including a semi-eleptic spring and a pneumatic cylinder, for installation in the suspension of the rear axle of the vehicle. In order to assess the influence of a combined elastic element with a non-linear characteristic on the smoothness of the course, a mathematical model has been developed. The mathematical model makes it possible to carry out a numerical experiment, taking into account the nature of the interaction of tires with roadway irregularities and the nonlinear characteristics of the combined elastic element.
